Edible Garnishes is a working hydroponic farm, producing an array of wonderful ingredients for the Australian food service industry.

Launching in 2016, Edible Garnishes supplies the Sydney and Brisbane markets over 40 varieties of living and cut microgreens, an array of baby leaf produce, native foods and naturalised bush food.

Edible Garnishes prides itself on consistently delivering high quality produce year-round. The team provide excellent customer service, are continuously innovating and developing the product range and are committed to sending flavourful food out the door daily!

Edible Garnishes is run in unison with Pocket Herbs in Burringbar which is located in the Northern Rivers, NSW. Together they employ over 20 staff members who are passionate about growing food.

Our farm.

The greenhouses operate under a controlled environment using sustainable agricultural practices. The soilless growing technique involves the collection and re-use of rainwater; no fungicides, or chemical pesticides are used in growing any produce. The majority of power is from Solar PV panels and management and staff use chemical free composting toilets! The farm also has solar hot water…

Pest management is handled using beneficial insects and other techniques.

All crops are grown from Non-GMO seed. Produce is processed and packed on a registered growing and packing facility with Freshcare, the Australian on-farm assurance program. The farm is also HACCP Food Safety Certified, so you can be rest assured produce is safe for you, your customers and your family.

Because the produce is grown in a specialised hydroponics system, it is of very high quality, provides good shelf life, and is available year-round. A wide range of produce is grown, and due to the short harvesting timelines, the team can be nimble and responsive to demand.
